TEAMS, FEES & PROCESS

Football Australia has updated the registration process this year, and there may be some additional steps. Please allow approximately 10 minutes to complete the process.

2025 Season Age Groups

Age group qualification by WACFA states that a player registered in an age group shall not be older than the registered Age Group at the 30th June of that playing year. See below:

  • NOTE:
    As per By-Law 13.2 Girls are eligible to play down one year into a mixed team that is one age group lower than that for which they would normally be eligible (for example, a girl who is in year 7 (1/7/2007 and 30/6/2008) is eligible to play in U12, but a girl who is in year 8 (1/7/2006 and 30/6/2007) is not eligible to play in U12).
  • To compete in the U6 mixed competition, the child MUST be turning 5 in that calendar year.
  • U6 to U12 Age Groups are Small Sided Football
  • Age exemptions are no longer being considered by WACFA.

2025 Season Fees

Mini Roos U6 Mixed – $220

Fees include:

  • Loan match day jersey.
  • Insurance and WACFA fees

Mini Roos U8, U10, U12 Mixed – $280

Fees include:

  • Loan match day jersey.
  • Insurance and WACFA fees

Juniors U13 – U19 Boys and Girls – $340

Fees include:

  • Puma club training jersey to keep
  • Black Puma shorts and 2 pairs of Select socks to keep
  • Match day jersey (loan)
  • Insurance, WACFA and match fees

Mens, Masters and Champions – $390

Fees include:

  • Loan match day jersey
  • Insurance, WACFA and match fees
  • IMPORTANT NOTE for Mens, Masters and Champions: Coaches have the authority to determine team selection. Please contact the team coach before registering.

The New 2025 Registration Process is NEW.

Things You Will Need:

  • A photo of the player
  • A credit card for payment
  • Laptop/PC (The new PlayFootball system can be unreliable on a mobile device)

Process:

  1. Go to https://www.playfootball.com.au/
  2. Select “Re-registering To Play This Season.”
  3. Under “Find a place to participate,” type “Kingsway United CFC.”
  4. Log in to your PlayFootball account.
  5. Select the correct product. Eg U6 Kingsway United Christian FC
    IMPORTANT NOTES:
    1. If using a Kidsport voucher, make sure you select a “KIDSPORT” titled product. Email your Kidsport code to treasurer@kingswayunited.com with details of your child’s registration (Kidsport codes do not work on the playfootball registration portal. For more details you can contact our Treasurer treasurer@kingswayunited.com).
    2. Please check     age cutoffs on this page to select the correct product.
  6. Click “Register someone else.”
    NOTE: If the “Register someone else” option is greyed out, follow the prompts to relink your child. This may happen if your details didn’t migrate correctly to the new Football Australia system.
  7. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions—you MUST open all the links before ticking the boxes and continuing.
  8. Enter the player’s details and follow the prompts.
  9. On the regulation details page, you will be asked if this is for a “loan period.” Select “No” as the club does not loan players. Answer the remaining questions to proceed.
  10. Upload the player’s photo. 
    • You will need to select one of the following forms of identification to verify the player’s identity, as required by Football Australia. Please choose the option you have:
      1. Driver’s license
      2. Student ID
      3. Library card
      4. Passport
      5. Birth certificate
  11. Fill in payment details.
    • Kingsway United CFC offers a fee reduction for families with three or more players (immediate family only). After paying the full amount, please contact us for a $200 reimbursement. 
    • REMINDER: If using a Kidsport voucher Email your Kidsport code to treasurer@kingswayunited.com with details of your child’s registration.

Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation from Football Australia stating that your registration is pending approval. The club will wait until the registration period ends or until team capacity is reached. You will then receive an email from the club with further details.

IMPORTANT: If you are placed on a waitlist, we recommend reaching out to other clubs as it is unlikely a spot will become available.
